Description
Is there an existing issue for this?
- I have searched the existing issues
Describe the bug
Usually, while using the multiplayer lobby, the connection works correctly, but after some time (around one hour of work), the second player consistently receives the error: “Could Not Connect To Other Players”. The first player is connected succesfully and the game runs on his instance.
No changes were made to the project between the working state and the moment the error started appearing. The behavior appears intermittent: after some time it begins failing, and a day later it may start working again without any changes to the project.
This suggests the issue is external (gd.games instabillity) rather than project-related, but it keeps recurring.
It happened to me about 3 times already.
Expected Behavior
Stable and consistent ability for game instances to connect to each other during continuous testing.
Actual Behavior
Connection suddenly stops working for the second player after some time, with no changes made to the project.
Steps to reproduce
- Work on project that uses at least two instances and regullary try to connect to multiplayer lobby provided by gd.games.
- Keep working on project for some time (in my case ~1 hour).
- Eventually the second player receives “Could Not Connect To Other Players”.
