just noticed that tracking links were embedded in some URLs in AGH either by mistake or intention and I couldn't find any explanation to these being introduced in the source code

Let me just say this is shady for an app that's supposed to block all ads and trackers 🤔 looking forward to see what's your opinion on the matter.

I don’t think it means what you think it means. The link brings me to https://adguard-dns.io/kb/general/dns-filtering-syntax. There’s nothing in my query log showing the tracking link you referenced. Either it was never merged or it’s part of the website code (which I don’t see in the source) or it was discovered and removed.
