Autoupdate mechanism doesnt seems to work in time

Hello as for the second comment, the update doesn't installed when it's available I need a manual check to install em.... this setting should check instantly for new filter updates and pull em instantly for installation. that how this setting should work. updates from the second it became available without delays and waiting.

hello every filter has this behavior, its the mechanism that cant pull the updates as fast it should.
cant send the logs cause i tested another adblocker app (as and IT i need the most stable)

How do you imagine the customizable update interval working — for example, a setting where you choose how often the app checks for updates (every hour, every 6 hours, etc.)?

I meantime when the app fonds the update install it right away cause now it can't mannt times I trigger the update manually

just like that percise, but I guess if the mechanism can improved and do it right that option might not needed

Thank you for the details — now the issue is clear, and we'd like to explain how the update mechanism actually works.

"Get filter updates in real time" does not mean updates are installed instantly. Here's how it works:

With this setting enabled, the app checks for filter updates once every 60 minutes (in the regular mode the check happens once every 24 hours). Moreover, even after the app downloads a filter update, Safari applies the new rules with a delay — this happens on Safari's side and unfortunately is not something we can control.

As for the customizable update check interval (your first annotation) — that's a separate feature request. Could you please file it as a new issue? It would also help if you described your use case there: why is the hourly check not sufficient for you? Understanding the scenario will help us evaluate the request properly.
