How to get full path in DevTools

I'm not sure if I'm overlooking something simple, how I get the full path of the selected element in DevTools? Selecter Copy seems to just copy the name of the current element but I need the full path?

Hi! Can you define "full path"?
"Copy" copies current element, with its type, name and it should also include pseudoclasses/classes (currently missing part).
"Copy from Template" copies path relative to the template parent, if any, i.e. Button /template/ ContentPresenter#PART_ContentPresenter.

Do you want a path from the window root? Should it include all elements in between? I want to know the use-case. Either way, it's something I can add.

Often I need to style controls which are nested so I may need to style an element in grid A but leave the same element unstyled in grid B so I need the exact path to that element. Whilst I may not always need full path back to root, it's difficult to put a definition on how far back to trace as it changes.

Yes.

Should it include all elements in between?
Yes. A bit like browser dev tools copy CSS Path or copy XPath for html/CSS elements

At the moment it's difficult to trace exactly which selector properties changes the required element.

It won't get into the next 2.2.2 release, but I will plan it for the next one. No ETA yet.
