Uh oh!

I recently installed Visual Studio 2026 to support targeting .NET 10.0.
Now I am having a problem with VS not formatting .cs files per specified C# Code Styles with regard to spaces inside parentheses in method definitions and method calls.
The settings are:
The behavior that I am seeing is that even though the settings are selected to add spaces, when I complete a line of code by adding a semicolon to the end of the line no spaces are added and when I reformat the document the any spaces that I manually added are removed. Other settings, like adding a space after a comma are honored.
I have not exhaustively tested whether other code style preferences are honored, so there may be more preferences that are not honored.
This did not happen in VS2022 nor does it happen with non-Avalonia solutions in VS2026.
Is anyone else seeing this behavior?
Thanks!
