A non-zero number of seeds germinated after 2 years instead of just 1 in Bruna 2002 (Fig 4). E.g., it looks like in continuous forest, and additional ~4% of seeds germinated in the second year. One way to model this could be to add another discrete class, seed that has age related transitions into sdlg.
