Visual Studio Plugin for Cppcheck

I am the maintainer for open source Cppcheck project.

I would like to have a Visual Studio plugin for Cppcheck.

Would it be possible and/or interesting to extend or split up the Clang Power Tools Visual Studio plugin so Cppcheck can be executed also?

I don't have an opinion if it will be 1 plugin that handles cppcheck also, or a separate plugin for cppcheck which behind the scenes reuse the same code.

I imagine that there would be quite a lot of basic infrastructure that can be reused for both Cppcheck and Clang.

Cppcheck output can be adapted to be similar to clang.

According to a recent survey by Jetbrains, Cppcheck is used by 10% of C++ developers.

If we volounteer to do this.. how big task would it be.. is this a small simple task that a C# noob can pull off in a day or two or would it require extensive work.. ? Sorry I have no idea.. would appreciate feedback..
