Scarlet Witch, Chaotic Avenger reads
"Flying
Whenever Scarlet Witch deals combat damage to a player, look at the top two cards of your library, then exile them face down. Then you may cast a Hero or noncreature spell from among cards exiled with Scarlet Witch without paying its mana cost."
After landing a hit on a player with Scarlet, ability triggers and goes on stack. It lists the 2 face-down cards exiled and can then click on them or click okay but does not allow either card to be cast on resolution of trigger. Cards are almost always non creature or hero cards. Clicking on flashback lightning bolt symbol while in combat does not allow cast as well and neither does selecting the cards in exile zone allow for cast.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Start commander game with scarlet witch, chaotic avenger and allow her to be played and land a hit on an opponent
- Ability will trigger during combat/first strike/damage calculation which will then list the 2 cards exiled with her ability in a pop up
- Can click on either card regardless of what it is and click okay
- Nothing will happen and combat will finish its phase as normal
Expected behavior
After damage, Scarlet should exile 2 cards face down and allow the user to then cast 1 of those 2 spells while the trigger is still on the stack
(or any others previously exiled by current Scarlet Witch, Chaotic Avenger as long as she has not become a new object such as exiled or recast) and 1 of those 2 spells must be a non creature or hero type spell card. If she has double strike or multiple combats, then more casts will follow.
