I like to use color ratings to identify different types of pictures, e.g., black and white conversions, or HDR images.
Is it possible to select several images and assign a color label to all of them simultaneously?

Yes of course. Simply select multiple images using ctrl or shift and then assign ratings to all of them (by pressing 1-5 or shift + 1-5 on the keyboard)
