planus version incompatibility causing build failure

The planus crate was updated to issue 1.2 yesterday.
Since then polars fails to build with the following error:

Please update the planus version of your published crate.

Also, please consider removing code that requires specific versions of dependant libraries.

Hello, I'm experiencing the same issue

here is a temporary solution while you wait:

Add this to your Cargo.toml and run cargo update.

[patch.crates-io.planus]
git = "https://github.com/planus-org/planus"
tag = "v1.1.1"

the problem might be that polars-arrow-format hasn't pinned the version of planus they're using. so on installation, the latest version of planus is fetched which raises the incompatibility error
