How do I reorganize the -z index of the objects on screen?
A super basic layer manager with a folder structure would help a ton!

Love this app btw, once that's implemented I really don't need much more than what's already here!

Currently the closest thing you can get to reorganizing the z index of objects is selecting them with a select tool, cutting them with CTRL-X, and pasting them with CTRL-V. Not an ideal way of doing it, but it will place the objects in front of everything else. Layers aren't in my plan for the next version v0.3.0, since I'm mainly focusing on improving the textbox right now, but they will be the focus for v0.4.0. I'll keep this request issue open until I eventually get to adding it.

I completely understand, and thank you for the a quick solution with the copy-pasta.
And of course, easier said than done, I think to simplify and get a strong foundation would be starting with an option like "Bring to Front" or "Send to Back", showing a small number in the corner of the selected item of the current z-layer it exists on?

Great work, and I can't wait to see what you release next, will be following the development of this project as I am very excited to host some fun art doodle games on my discord.

+1 for the send to back , send to front
If the stroke has a z value, maybe it can be adjusted via input. I would assume it would be just applying a parent matrix to your points?
