Can't find variable: TextEncoder

React-Native 0.76.6 and "react-native-qrcode-svg": "^6.3.14",

Steps to Reproduce:

Install react-native-qrcode-svg using yarn add react-native-qrcode-svg ("react-native-qrcode-svg": "^6.3.14",)
Import and use the package in a React Native project.
Run the app on Android, and you will encounter the following error:
Can't find variable: TextEncoder

I tried the the README configuration but without success:

Idk why but I'm having this issue only when I build the app. I'm trying to solve it testing some solution on the linked issue

This thread was tracked here: #199 and then was patched here: #200

That change was included in releases up to 6.3.12 and this resolution was dropped for another resolution (#227) that was released in 6.3.14 and is currently out in the latest version as well (6.3.15).

My current recommendation is to downgrade back to 6.3.12 if you aren't using react-native version 0.75 or later (as I believe its not in 0.75).

Hello, not supporting TextEncoder for RN versions below 75 was a conscious decision.

ah thats very clear. I skimmed over it in the README because the headline probably wasnt as large as I would have expected it to be, and I didn't clearly read it haha. "Integrating react-native-qrcode-svg with React Native versions below 0.75".

Many projects arent using a RN version higher than 0.75... especially expo users (expo 52 is the latest version and uses RN 0.74 and expo 51 uses RN 0.74.

For now I just decided to use react-native-qrcode-svg version 6.3.12. Good to know for when I upgrade though. Thank you!
