Order classes when creating label

In the label creation menu, there seems to be no way to choose their order, or map them to a numerical class. This causes issues when exporting to YOLO(maybe other formats as well), because the true annotations are different from expected.

Hello,

You can lock both the numeric class IDs and the export order by setting an explicit category on each Label in the labeling interface code. The visual “label creation” dialog doesn’t expose this, so do it in Code mode.

What to do

1. Open Settings → Labeling Interface → Code.

2. Add a category attribute to each Label with the desired numeric ID (as a string). Example for YOLO object detection:
