Obtanium / foreground service does not autostart on boot (bug?)

Prerequisites

I have tried searching for issues with boot or autostart or foreground as keywords

I have not found this exact behavior being described

Describe the bug

With Obtanium Foreground Service enabled (check updates on startup and background updates also enabled), Obtanium does not autostart on boot

To Reproduce

Install Obtanium

Enable foreground service (with notificiation)

Enable check updates on startup

Enable background updates

Confirm that foreground service is running

Add some apps (so Obtanium has something to check updates for)

Reboot phone

After reboot, even 10-15 minutes in, the foreground service notification DOES NOT appear

Not sure what logs to get where.

Please complete the following information:

Behavior observed on Pixel 6, 6a, 8

• OS:
  Graphene OS Latest
• Obtainium Version:
  1.2.8 (23243) FDROID

Update:
the foreground service does in fact launch, but it takes a truly prodigious time to get there SOMETIMES

Like, out of 6 reboots, 4 have very long time to Obtanium foreground launch and 2 are kinda okay-ish

Not reproduced under maximally similar conditions on Pixels 7 and 9 Pro Fold

Will leave it open I guess in case some kind of solution is found but seems device-related weirdness

I can reproduce on a pixel 9 pro xl with grephene os
