Regarding the Creation of Transition Animations Between Start and End Frames

I created a first-last frame animation, but the animation itself has no connection whatsoever with the two starting and ending images. It's an entirely newly created video. It seems that this 'first-last frame' feature isn't working properly at the moment. Or, are there any key prompt words to trigger it?

Im seeing the same thing - it seems to be doing a text-to-video for the fill option instead of using image-to-video with the start/end frames.

I haven't been able to make it work as well. The T2V seems to be working but the start/end frames are not being considered.

I traced this to the editor's frame-selection state never reaching video generation. The adjacent frames were used for previews and prompt suggestions, but the generation handler only forwarded a separately uploaded image, so normal gap fills omitted imagePath and ran as text-to-video. The End-frame path also always inserted the result with reversed: false.

I opened draft PR #134 with a targeted fix for the behavior documented in the UI:

• Start frame → image-conditioned generation
• End frame → image-conditioned generation, then reversed playback
• disabled frame conditioning → text-to-video
• replacement frames use their real filesystem path

The PR deliberately does not claim simultaneous first-and-last-frame interpolation; the current local/cloud request contract accepts one conditioning image, so that would need a separate API capability change.
