Per una prima estensione in meno di un'ora, crea un file plugins/skills/nome-skill.md con istruzioni brevi e aggiungi nome-skill a spec.skills nel manifest dell'agente. Il nome può contenere lettere minuscole, numeri e trattini. Riavvia il servizio o rilancia il comando: la skill viene letta a ogni esecuzione.

Per modifiche al core:

  1. Apri un'issue con il problema e il comportamento atteso.
  2. Crea un branch, aggiungi un test che fallisce e implementa il cambiamento.
  3. Esegui python -m pip install -e ".[dev]" e python -m pytest -q.
  4. Mantieni openagentos/*.py sotto 1.500 righe fisiche in totale; i test lo verificano in CI.
  5. Apri una pull request piccola e descrivi il caso d'uso.

Per i nuovi tool serve una proposta di permessi e un test che provi il blocco quando la policy dell'host non li concede. Non aggiungere esecuzione di shell o accesso arbitrario al filesystem in una skill Markdown.

Mantieni README e documentazione in italiano e inglese nella stessa modifica. Inviando un contributo, confermi di avere il diritto di farlo e di metterlo a disposizione sotto AGPL-3.0-only. I contributori mantengono il copyright delle proprie parti. Non è richiesto un CLA; una futura licenza commerciale del codice contribuito richiederà un accordo separato con i rispettivi titolari. Rispetta il codice di condotta.

For a first extension in under an hour, create plugins/skills/skill-name.md with concise instructions and add skill-name to spec.skills in an agent manifest. Names may contain lowercase letters, digits, and hyphens. Restart the service or rerun the command: skills are read for every run.

For core changes:

  1. Open an issue describing the problem and expected behavior.
  2. Create a branch, add a failing test, and implement the change.
  3. Run python -m pip install -e ".[dev]" and python -m pytest -q.
  4. Keep the total physical line count of openagentos/*.py below 1,500; CI enforces it.
  5. Open a focused pull request explaining the use case.

New tools need a permission proposal and a test proving that host policy denies them by default. Do not put shell execution or arbitrary filesystem access into a Markdown skill.

Update both Italian and English README and documentation in the same change. By submitting a contribution, you confirm that you have the right to submit it and to make it available under AGPL-3.0-only. Contributors retain copyright in their own contributions. No CLA is required; any future commercial license covering contributed code needs a separate agreement with the relevant rights holders. Follow the code of conduct.
