[Feature] Moonfin Client Download does not show activity in Jellyfin Dashboard

What problem does this solve?

This allows the administrator to see why Jellyfin might be using transcode resources or upload resources.
Currently if I check my upload speed and transcoding engine I can see and guess that it is a user downloading.

Proposed solution

It would be great if it can use the Jellyfin API endpoints and allow the Jellyfin Dashboard to show some sort of activity or data that is able to tell the admin/ server owner that a user is downloading something and that is why the hardware transcoding is going crazy or the upload is being saturated.

Use an API endpoint, this also means that other monitoring tools that connect to jellyfin can see what is happening.
Show the activity on the Jellyfin Dashboard and attempt to have it say something in regards to downloading (I think the official jellyfin apps can hit this API)

Have the same issue. Was downloading a few movies and it brought my server to its knees.

Would be awesome to show perhaps the transcoding just like a normal transcode session. When the user would be displayed with a pre or postfix in the moonfin transcode name. Then this is already native in Jellyfin without extra bells and whistles.

I was busy with a sync watch tool for jellyfin and had the same issue with native transcodes when not using the api correctly. This seems like a design choice though but who knows.

Also having no options to make it transcode to h264 or any tweaks is also a bummer but I can live with that. Hopefully my old tablet for the kids can do h265.

Have to say I'm very happy with the option to download lower quality this makes bringing video material for travel devices really easy. Keep up the good work!

Ok did some digging because I did not know what I was talking about or if it was even possible.

• H264 support is out of the question since all moonfin clients handle the url build on their side. Could invest time and effort to make a pr for user side settings for this but the use case is pretty rare i suppose, not really worth the effort.
• Showing the Active Download transcodes is possible by using the moonfin server plugin. I did allot of testing with the api but there where no endpoints so i made one and added a extra tab in the moonfin settings.
  Problem is I wanted it to show in the main jellyfin dashboard, but it got ugly pretty fast with custom js injections. Keep it simple I suppose. Perhaps someone smarter could have a crack at that.

Please test it if possible, and if it works then ill make a pr to the original repo.
