I was curious if this would still be alphabetical within each genre etc. For instance, if a movie is cross listed in more than one genre, and it’s the earliest in the alphabet for both/all it will show up first for each, and, is the thumbnail on the genre screen for all applicable items.

Did you mean to comment this in #122 ?
This is about the "modern" home row style currently available on moonfin-core and smarttv versions of the app, nothing to do with genres/sorting
In any case, whether it's about 122 or this one, the plan is just to implement the features exactly (or as close as possible) to how they work in moonfin-core

Note: Modern home rows are not possible with RowList. The rows need to be rewritten as a MarkupGrid to support items at different widths.
