Home
This is the home for all of the Nexus Mods App's documentation, both for users and for developers. Previously, this information was stored and updated at https://nexus-mods.github.io/NexusMods.App/ but is in the process of being moved to this location in order to make it easier for new and existing users to see our progress.
This update brings a smoother, more reliable experience along with some exciting quality-of-life improvements. We’ve tidied up a few behind-the-scenes issues and introduced tools to help you keep your game folders clean and organized. You’ll also notice a more informative Library, early glimpses of the upcoming Downloads page, some handy new menus, plus performance boosts to keep everything running fast and responsive.
- General bug fixes including erroneously backing up game folder.
- The Nexus Mods App now detects if your game folder is not in a base state and gives you the option to clean it.
- Downloads page placeholder: While full functionality isn't quite here yet, clicking the button in the bottom left will now open the downloads area with placeholder text. We look forward to showing you more soon.
- Library improvements: You'll now find a new Collection column showing you what collections your mod is installed into, with an icon that show if the collection is installed or in progress.
- Kebab menus are now in place in Loadout and Installed Collections pages as well as to the Library.
- Performance improvements.

Right now, we're in the process of migrating everything that was on wiki.nexusmods.com.
The migrated documentation hasn't yet been checked for quality and/or relevance. Most will be fine although some will be outdated and also repeated across different pages. This documentation is at the lower half of the sidebar on the right (underneath the warning). As we check the documentations, pages will be reorganised into the top half of the sidebar.
