it's easy to accidentally search in packages instead of options or vice-versa

A search under this link: https://search.nixos.org/options?channel=unstable&query=oversteer does not provide a result even though the package should be available in the unstable branch(and i installed it successfully). If this is intended please just close this issue.

Oversteer is a package, so it can be found in https://search.nixos.org/packages?channel=unstable&query=oversteer

It's not a module/option, so it's correct that it's not listed in https://search.nixos.org/options?channel=unstable&query=oversteer

This does show a usability issue, as it's very understandable that this difference is not clear, especially to new users. Maybe let's keep this open to think about how to improve this? Should we have one page that searches packages, options and flakes 'in one go'?

whoopsie. i just used old tab and didnt look at the url bar that i was searching options instead of packages. I don't think this is a huge issue. Maybe just a suggestion if no package/option is found that you should look at the other one? Maybe like this:
