I came across your simulator and it looks really helpful. My team is using the pybricks setup from Lego in ev3dev. Any chance I can work with you to add that to this simulator?

Sure! Sounds like it'll be useful. Should only require a Python module to wrap the low level commands using the pybricks API. Should be able to make it available together with the ev3dev-lang-python API, and the user can choose which to import.

It may be a while before I get around to it. If you want to start on it first, that'll be great. Just let me know how I can help. Else, I'll get it done eventually.

Cool. It's tedious, but easy.

Read the Python files in the "ev3dev2" directory (eg. motor.py). That will show you how to interface with the simulator via the ev3dev2_glue module. You'll need to implement the pybricks API the same way.

To make your new Python modules available for the in-browser interpreter, you'll need to edit index.html; "var externalLibs" on line 435. The format should be self explanatory.

Sorry @pshri i've been working on a coding project at work and haven't had the energy to keep staring at a screen in the evening. The Pybricks stubs i've been working on were only set to test the usage and not send the commands to the canvas. I'll try to spend some time and see if I can replicate what @QuirkyCort already had for ev3dev2. Let me know if you have questions.

I've recently started on https://gears.aposteriori.com.sg/. It will support Pybricks, and I've started on the Blocks-to-Pybricks generation, but Pybricks won't actually run yet.

It's still early work, but you might want to play around with it. All feedback and bug reports are appreciated.
