Desktop app

Are there any plans for building a desktop/laptop application?
I think it would be useful for desktop users as well (being able to exchange GPG keys and other contacs securely). In Linux it can integrate with existing GPG keyring tools.

Yes!

We are getting a javascript key exchange library together which can be used by Enigmail and other GPG email plugins for the desktop. We've not progressed as quickly as we'd have liked, but hopefully we'll be ready to support it soon. You can watch for release notes here:

If I understand correctly, instead of building a desktop app, you are building libraries and API-s that can be used by any desktop app to exchange securely keys, contacts, etc. the same way that SafeSlinger does. This is even better. Thanks.
I think that SafeSlinger is wonderful, and maybe a game changer.
