Create User Profile API page

We'll need a backend API route so that the frontend can read/write data to and from the database.

Coordinate with frontend developer to determine what APIs are needed.

I'd like to take this on and coordinate with @aasherkataria (#32) unless he'd want to do this himself (since he's doing the frontend anyway). I think a prerequisite to making this fully functional would be to have the user sessions correctly working and feeding data possibly into a React context (from the authentication issue #16)
