-
Go to Steam -> Library and rightclick on "Counter-Strike: Source" and select "Properties".
-
Make sure that for "Compatability" you have disabled "Force the use of a specific Steam Play compatiblity tool". This means that it will use the "Steam Linux Runtime 3.0 (sniper)" by default.
-
Press the "X" in the upper right of above dialog to close it.
-
Go to Steam -> Library and in the upper left click so you have both "Games" and "Tools" enabled as filter. Then rightclick on "Steam Linux Runtime 3.0 (sniper)" and select "Properties".
-
Then in "Game Versions & Betas" select "previous_release, Mar 17, 2026".
Now the game will start without libc.so.6 crashing.
