Can you please guide step-by-step as to how to deploy the project on Heroku.

You should deploy the server and client files separately, each should be hosted by itself.
First, deploy the client files on Heroku or Netlify for example.

Then, take the deployed client's url and add it to the options in the cors in the server.js file, in order to allow communication between the deployed client files and the server files.

Lastly, deploy the server files on Heroku and inside the TextEditor.js add the deployed server URL, in order to establish a the socket connection with the server.

where can i deploy it. render is so slow and heroku needs a credit card. nodejitsu and cyclic are dead.
