Unable to follow Pixelfed servers with large user numbers #303
Description
Servers Ive tried and had issues with.
My server is brbn.social
pixelfed.social
gram.social
When i try to follow one, i hit the button, nothing seems to happen outside of the follow number going up. Refreshing shows I'm still not following them. I do see the instance added on the admin panel and see accounts from these servers in global explore, but I"m not able to follow them.
This does not seem to be an issue on smaller pixelfed servers, and have no issues with mastodon servers and similar.
Thoughts? Anyone else seeing this issue? I'm out of ideas on what to try.
