I just started working with AetherSDR and if I missed this feature, I apologize in advance. I was trying to create a profile with out the radio being connected and realized that it works the same as SmartSDR. The profile is stored on the radio. I think it would be beneficial if you could have local profiles stored in AetheSDR json file that when called would set up AetherSDR to the specified profile. This feature would be nice for remote users who want a profile but have no need to store it on the radio. This would allow whom ever is actually in charge of maintaining the radio to not have to deal with excessive profiles. I think clubs would find this useful.
