I installed ble.sh today on my Ubuntu Budgie 26.04. I am using Pycharm. When I open Terminal inside Pycharm and issue any command it ends with [ble: press RET to continue] text continuously showing in the terminal every time I press Enter.
I don't know where to start to fix this issue so I came here.

This seems to be the same symptom as #543. PyCharm Terminal probably introduces a similar hack to inject the shell integration in the Bash session. In fact, there seems to be an item Settings - Terminal - Application settings - Shell integration in the online documentation of PyCharm, though I cannot confirm how the problem arises because I can't find the source code of PyCharm on the internet.

Q1: To identify the cause, could you turn off the shell integration of PyCharm Terminal (configurable from Settings - Terminal - Application settings - Shell integration) and see whether the behavior changes?

After testing the above, please revert the shell integration setting for the next test.

Q2: How do you source and enable ble.sh in your ~/.bashrc. Do you use the combination source ble.sh --attach=none & ble-attach? If so, could you check if the problem is solved by using source ble.sh (without ble-attach)?

I cannot confirm how the problem arises because I can't find the source code of PyCharm on the internet.

I found the source code of PyCharm Community Edition and identified the suspicious shell integration code, which does something unusual.
