i used network sniffer and found that video links are really long
but has .flv in it

thanks for information, yes videos in x-flv format, using modern video codec, they not detecting by app because content length of url response body is -1, but i am using content size threshold for filtering ads and minim value is 0. Remain one task: i should integrate latest ffmpeg version in app, because without it downloaded video unplayable, only sound and only after fixing it using ffmeg it works well

On this week i'll push fixes for video detection in dev branch and latter i'll intergarte modern ffmpeg version, i'll write here

i tried to download videos from this website even though video is 2 hour long only 1 to 2 minutes is playable

yes, it is, because they are using rare video codec and video should be transcoded with more generic video codec after downloading, new changes about kuaishou already in dev branch, but unfinished yet, i am going to add modern ffmpeg for transcoding and additional settings for detection such stream content, it will be sooon

there are some updates about issue: live stream detecting for this web site added to master brunch and version 0.6.7 released here on github and will be released little bit latter on F-droid

but problem with unplayable video not solved. On my pc fix downloaded video is just one simple command (ffmpeg -i "live_kuaishou_input.mp4" -c copy "live_kuaishou_output.mp4"), but on mobile with no result, i am waiting when ffmpeg v8.0 will be released on android and try again

I fetched the downloadable link using video downloader extension

thanks!, it very useful, such browser extension may be implemented with FFmpeg.wasm and may be different with android Ffmeg, this is super useful

PC version ffmpeg working properly on this videos too
