blazblue calamity trigger stub 2.1 decryption error.

i tried to remove the steam stuff from blazblue: calamity trigger, but it fails.
everything seems to work until it reaches ".text section is encrypted." after that it throws an error:
steamless.unpacker.variant21.x86 --> error trying to decrypt the files code section data!
and fails to unpack the file.
edit: using "use experimental features" unpacks the file, but the resulting exe is corrupted. the game crashes once you try to open the menu.
