Description:
Create an interactive map visualization that allows citizens to explore government budget allocations across the Philippines.
User Flow:

View national map with regions marked
Click region → zoom to see cities
Click city → view budget breakdown by sector (education, healthcare, infrastructure, etc.)

Value:

Increases budget transparency
Enables citizens to understand resource allocation in their areas
Promotes government accountability

Year-over-year comparisons

I think this is already possible with the work that has been put into OpenBudget Data and OpenBudget API. I do like this idea though of having an interactive map but you can use the API if you want to implement this yourself 😄
