NPM doesn't install global pacakges

Hi, I used npm i -g pm2@latest but it doesn't install it, it says command not found even when I execute it with sudo and even when I install the package with sudo.
Do you have any suggestions/advice?

1. Which distro are you running?

I'm curious whether your system is using alternatives or symlinks.

2. Check the install path to ensure that the node version you requested did install and untar.

ls /usr/lib/nodejs/

You should see something like...
node-v12.18.1-linux-x64

3. Check your environment PATH variable and ensure the BIN_PATH used in the nodejs-install script is pointing to the correct path.

echo $PATH

In the settings at the top of the script you will find the BIN_PATH settings which specifies where the symlink will be created. The default is /usr/bin
