Running workflow if not on default branch?

Is there a way to activate the workflow if __mirror is not the default branch?

(Summary: scheduled jobs always use the default branch)

I agree, this is an unfortunate limitation, but as it’s on the GitHub side I don’t believe there’s anything that can be done for now. Let’s keep the issue open in case that changes
