Preview of properties of available data

Greetings,

I hope you forgive an outsider putting in an issue. I was interested in possibly using some of this data as the repository description and scope seemed promising. However, I found it a little challenging understanding precisely what datasets, countries/locations, years, etc were included, as most of the readme is on a "meta" level (how and by what standards the data are processed, how to contribute, etc).

I finally discovered answers may be in the preprint linked: https://www.medrxiv.org/content/10.1101/2024.12.20.24319425v1 ; is this true? May I humbly suggest something similar to the preprint's Table 1 and/or Figure 3a is included in the README along with the preprint link? It would help me and others understand what we're jumping in to if we want to use this resource.

Yes that preprint is the best source of information about these data.

I'm leaning towards making the README very simple, with links to separate pages tailored to different reasons people might be visiting:

1. "I want the data and a quick overview of what's available"
2. "I want to understand your methodology"
3. "I want to contribute"

Our manuscript is currently under review. Once we receive feedback, I'll revise these resources again, incorporating both your suggestions and any input from the reviewers. I'll keep this ticket open in the meantime.
