Can't connect Unraid API Integration to Unraid

If I try to connect the newest integration 1.2.0 to my Unraid server (6.12.15) I get an Error in my Home Assistant log ->
Error in query response: GraphQL operations must contain a non-empty query or a persistedQuery extension.
Tried it with https:// with http:// with IP Address and Domain Name. The API Key on Unraid is created correctly also with the permissions.

Managed to get it working.

• Create or recreate the API with Admin role and the specified read permission for Array, Info and Share.
• Add integration. The key point here is that if you are trying different URLs, don't just change the URL and hit submit. Close the window and go through the process to "Add Integration" and then try a different URL. I got mine working without SSL and remote access disabled, even tho my HA is on a different device on the same network.

However, I'd like to know why the document states to provide the admin role and specifically read access for array, info and share when the admin role effectively provides those accesses and more.

Sorry I dont quit follow. I created an API KEY With those permissions. And copied both the url it suggest (without the extra parameters) and the api key into the integration setup. It still says it cannot connect. Developer sandbox is enabled. The url is correct and the api key aswell. So dunno where I went wrong 😄

I was able to provision a myunraid.net SSL cert on the Management Access settings page (at the bottom), and use that URL with HTTPS in the Unraid_API Integration settings within HomeAssistant, and it worked!

I eventually got it working after one of the various HA integration updates and it's been working well since then... unfortunately it's now broken again with v1.4.0. After messing about removing the connection and re-adding I just rolled back to v1.2.0 and it connected successfully again.

Had the same issue. Not sure what exactly did it but I

• cleared browser cache for my ha-url (I use my external dyndns-url whenever I set up new integrations because using http://ip:8123 sometimes caused issues for me);
• deleted and re-added the API key in unRAID with the template provided in the project README;
• opened my ha-url, logged in (since browser cache was cleared), went to Settings > Devices etc. > Add Integration and selected the unRAID integration;
• used https://ip + API-Key and unchecked Verify SSL certificate. Using http://ip + API-Key did not work for me; had to use https.

In unRAID OS I have "Use SSL/TLS" activated in the Management Access settings and am using the self signed certificate unRAID generated. As I understand it, Home Assistant has no global CA and this is the way to go. SSL will be used but the certificate will not be checked which would fail since it is self signed.

Ok, I have been able to reproduce this issue, seems to be related to the Use SSL/TLS setting in Unraid.

If "Use SSL/TLS" is set to "No" the GraphQL API only works with http, https returns an 404 error.

When "Use SSL/TLS" is set to "Yes" the API only works with https, with http it responds with the "GraphQL operations must contain a non-empty query or a persistedQuery extension." Error. Accessing the WebGUI with http leads to a redirect to https, but the API returns this weird response.

So everyone should check if there Server is using SSL and if yes check if the URL includes https:// at the beginning.

This is from a time when the permission system was not properly implemented on the Unraid side.
