212 Crash RedM

What happened?

212 Crash on RedM attached crah report, less than 800 ydr files, only 4 MLOs.

This was at Valentine, but will happen at any point when the pool gets filled.

Expected result

No crashing Or at least increased poolsize to allow for more YDR files

1. Have nearly 800 ydr files
2. Get a 212 crash at random
3. Win? Or at least get the crash

Total amount of ydr files I have - it used to be that anything over 800 would cause this crash, but now it's below 800 causing it

ur dump returns the RAGE error:

the log shows it happening after a large amount of streamed map content is loaded. this is not a fixed limit of 800 .ydr files though lol

there is already a related PR, #3740, which identifies this exact error as the fwDynamicArchetypeComponent pool being full. the amount of pressure depends on the archetypes/components created by the streamed assets, not only the raw number of .ydr files. so a smaller set of heavier assets can still hit it.

your dump also contains a large number of streamed props, housing and stable/interior resources, which matches that pool exhaustion path.

at the moment i would avoid trying to force a pool increase manually, since this pool does not appear to be exposed through the supported RedM pool size limits. reducing how many unique stream assets are active around the same area is the practical workaround for now

That's just it - it's happening from what we can see at random (and I was advised in another thread) to open my own thread referring to this error with crash dumps. This is what I have done.

As ultimately it is limiting the amount of ydr files we can have in - I would ideally like some method of increasing this pool or a revisit in how this is handled as the areas we're crashing can be areas with no active or minimal active ydr files within it - indicating another potential fix for this is a visit as to how fwDynamicArchetypeComponent handles its pool, even if that is by distance checking to remove stale data and dynamically pull ydr files in and out as needed.

Wanting to add - Crash in Valentine

Only asset in the area are herb assets spawning in at a distance (rarely), and a mlo editing valentines streets

Rhodes/Scarlett Meadow - small arena space just outside of Rhodes, Caliga Hall and Compsons Stead

Saint Dennis - nothing in the area

Van Horn - Nothing in the area

Annesburg - Nothing in the area

Blackwater - Nothing in the area

Tumblweed - Nothing in the area

Armadillo - Nothing in the area

Strawberry - Nothing in the area

The only other YDR files streaming in are from off map areas, one hub in Mexico, one hub off map below Braithwaite, one hub off map above Annesburg

I don't consider this heavy spawn in requirements and I've been finding the amount of YDRs I can have loaded DECREASING with artifact updates.
