Feature Summary
Search should only show matching results, not simply filter out servers
Motivation
When Searching for text or a port number I was expecting to get results that only showed matches to the search. Instead, I realized/noticed the way Search functions is it filters out Servers that don't have a match, but returns all ports of the server that does have a match.
Let me try to illustrate this in order to decrease confusion and ambiguity.
Lets say I have 8 servers in PortNote. One of those servers has a service on Port 484 entered, but also has 200 other ports listed. If I search for port 484 within PortNote the result is 7 of the servers disappear, leaving only the server with port 484. But, that server will still have all 201 ports listed. This makes it difficult to find 484 (lots of scrolling required) if I am trying to search what was written about port 484.
What would fix this is an actual search system that only returns matches (perfect matches, and/or partial matches?).
Thanks for this amazing tool!
When I get some free time in the next 5 weeks I'd love to help with this feature.
