Is there a way to persist the snapshot file even after a reboot?

I tried creating a snapshot and I had my snapshots for eg /dev/datto0, /dev/datto1.
But after a reboot, the snapshots are deleted. Is there a way to keep them safe from deletion or retrieve/re-create the same snapshot again?
