Non-negotiables

• Keep feature code independent of concrete infrastructure; wire adapters in the app or CLI composition root.
• Validate external, persisted, and cross-stage data with Zod schemas.
• Preserve CLI behavior through the injected Terminal and command-handler test seams.
• Do not use any or unknown in TypeScript source.

Development workflow

• Run bun run format before verification; CI enforces format:check.
• Run bun run check before handoff.
• Update the focused guidance document when a change invalidates it; do not duplicate context in this file.
