Upgrade to IOS 26.1 now Save With .Net9?

Is it now safe to install iOS 26.1 and upload a new app to the App Store and perform testing on the device as before? Or should I stay on my old iOS version? In previous versions, there were months of chaos; Microsoft was months behind Apple's releases. This time, I must have a working stack without fiddling around. I have no time for beta testing or any errors?

I think for Xcode 26.1 you will need .NET 10, .NET 9 seems to be only on Xcode 26: https://github.com/dotnet/macios/releases since .NET MAUI (and iOS/Android) do not follow the regular LTS/STS cycle you probably want to upgrade to .NET 10 anyway.

If you're not ready for that right now, you can use .NET 9 with Xcode 26. For easy managing of Xcode versions you can use Xcodes (notice the s at the end).
