The documentation references the keepass website in which it states "KeePass 2.x Only: Special key codes are case-insensitive".
As you state you support "KeePass 2.x style" autotype sequences it would make sense to also handle the tokens the same way.
Currently tokens like {Password} or {UserName} generate an error.
