Hi.
I'll describe this and hope that it can be followed, understood and corrected.
Data: FUTO Notes is the only app that is showing this behavior.
I'm using Android 10 (Arrow OS vanilla [no Google Services]), the most recent version of the FUTO Keyboard (1.30) and version FUTO Notes 1.7.0.
I also have FUTO Notes installed on a stock ROM Android Pie device that is using the same version of FUTO Keyboard and FUTO Notes.
I'm adding this because I recently found that it might be relevant: The Webview version on the Android 10 (Arrow OS) version is 88; the Webview version on the Android Pie (stock ROM) is 74.
With the Android 10 device:
When inputting text (typing) into a new note or editing the "Welcome" note, this is the phenomenon:
First, the text will "slide" up behind the Title area. Typing can continue, but it is not visible.
The second thing is that the input goes "wonky". In the quoted text below (I added the quotes here), read from the bottom and from right to left; that is the way that it appeared after I scrolled (pulled down) so that I could see what was behind the Title area. I tapped the Enter key after each sentence.
".fence the jumped dog brown big The .fence the jumped dog brown big The .fence the jumped dog brown big TheFENCE.THE JUMPED DOG BROWN BIG THE"
The first sentence is the one in all caps. After tapping Enter, I swiped the second sentence, which begins with the word "The" that appears in front of the word "FENCE".
After I taped Enter, I typed the next sentence, which begin with the word "The" that appears before " .fence".
After I tapped Enter, I swiped the last sentence, which is the first one shown in the quotes.
During all typing/swiping after the first two sentences, the text would flash in and out of view (from behind the Title area).
I made another test with a new note and swiped the entry. The result was that the first letter of each word was auto-capitalized and there was no space injected between the words.
This could be the FUTO Notes/FUTO Keyboard interface, but it only happens with FUTO Notes.
Third, when selecting using the context menu's "Select All" some text remains un-selected, which was only apparent after deleting the selected text and scrolling (pulling) down in order to see if there was anything still hidden behind the Title area, which there was.
With the Android 9 device:
This device will only allow an entry/edit to the Title area. There is no access to the body (content).
Finders are crossed! I hope that this is something that can be looked at and fixed with a quick "flick" of a variable and not an "OMG" thing.
My best,
Dave
