bug: unable to sync using link code but syncing with qr code works

i wanted to ask if anyone else has any problems when syncing with desktop?

sync works fine when using the generated qr code, but gets a error code 8 (mobile and desktop) or gets stuck on the handshaking screen (desktop) when using the text code.

additional details

android:

• infinix hot 30i
• grayjay version: 391

desktop:

• legion 5 2023
• grayjay version: 17
