Unable to add person and device_tracker without coordinates to Android Auto favorites

Description of problem, include YAML if issue is related to notifications:
It's not possible to add person.john or device_tracker.telephone_john to Android Auto favorites if the entity does not have coordinates (Background location / Location Sent: Zone only").

I want to see if persons are in specific zone or away in the Favorites view, even when they don't share their exact location.

What do you mean with 'favorites' and how is this different from your feature request? Because if this is a feature request, the original thread you linked is the right place.

I mean "Android Auto Favorites" and I don't consider this as a feature request but a bug since it's a regression caused by excessive filtering in isVehicleDomain function.

It's not because you cannot navigate to an entity that it should remove the ability to add it as Android Auto Favorite. I should add that even if the entity was added as favorite when it could be, it's also filtered out as soon as the background location sensor is set to "Zone Only" for the sent position.

The original question in the discussion was about asking why these entities without coordinates were being filtered out from the Navigation view, which makes perfect sense since they don't have coordinates. Then, I pointed out this issue about not being able to see them and add them as favorite.

Since isVehicleDomain is used by the function to filter the candidates for favorites, it excludes legitimate person.x or device_tracker.x entities which don't have coordinates. isVehicleDomain should not include isNavigable, if there's a need to add this additional constraint, it should be added on top of the logic for isVehicleDomain.
