I am using source/Refitting/include/RefitFinal.h and I am trying to figure out how it works so I can validate it with another fitter. In particular, I am not sure what particle assumption is used for the fitter. Here it seems that pions are used as a particle hypothesis, but perhaps I am missing the part where another mass value is assigned to _mass.
Regarding the covariance matrix for each hit, here du and dv values are first converted to cm and then they are used to define the precision as 1/variance . I assume that the fitter does not use covariance, but 1/covariance. Am I missing something?
