large numbers don't work

Somehow when a currency is set to something other than USD (for example Norwegian Kron) you cannot set it higher than 9999. The value get's corrupted somehow. Maybe because of the delimiter sign (comma or point)?

I found out it was because the field was set as hidden that it did not work...
Now I set it to normal product and it works!
Somehow the hidden field does not work correctly.

But...

Now I have the same problem with the price field "option"
At first it seemed to work fine but then I switched to a different currency and the bug came back...
