Indeed S_Languages_Uninstall is ✕ U+2715 multiplication X in all windows\bin\desktop\locale*\strings.xml except for
am-ET
az-AZ
ff-NG
kn
kr-NG
mfi-NG
mrt-NG
where it is X U+0058
and tr where it is x U+0078

is there from the beginning. However isn't it required to use as its first line
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
instead of <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> ?

I think this string may originally have been text 'Close' and then with a UI refresh, it got changed into an ✕ U+2715 as the easiest way to iconify it, years and years ago (prior to git repo)
