Security for Web

Hello...

Are there any plans for the security for the web instance. At the moment if I deploy it in Kubernetes, everyone has the same access. Perhaps you could do something that allows you to specify the kubeconfig for the session like the kubernetes dashboard does. That would be awesome.

BTW - The 3.9.0 version is not working brilliantly on the MAC M1. Thanks for the fixes!

Hi @rsliotta, currently it is not planed to add a fine grained permission schema for the web version of kubenav, but maybe this can be sth. for the future.

If you want a Kubernetes dashboard with a fine grained permission schema, you can take a look at https://github.com/kobsio/kobs. kobs supports authentication of users via a third party service like OAuth2 Proxy, where the permissions of a user can then be set via CRDs: https://kobs.io/configuration/authentication/.

Please be aware that kobs is currently under heavy development to bring the 1.0.0 version live in the next few weeks. If you want to try it out and you have any questions feel free to ask them in the kobsio/kobs repository.
