Sorting x-axis in Heatmap

Hi!

Thank you for sharing the code. I just have a quick question. I have a list of numbered patients, from ID_001 to ID_120, and two classes. However, these are intermingled. My issue is that when I get the results and plot the heatmap (PlotDiffHeatmap) I would like to see all patients of one class on the left and the rest on the right, so that I can compare expression and abundance more clearly, without renaming every patient (It's a standardized nomenclature). Basically, in the image attached all the green patients and purple grouped by condition.

I have tried sorting the md object but it doesn't work. Is there any easy workaround?
