Racing wheels (the ones I have tried have force feedback) are not detected as racing wheels but as GameInputKindController on PC (Windows 10). This appears to be a known issue, since the racing wheel sample isn't currently supported for PC (I filed an issue for the sample).
Starting with a minimal repro program, I can see that:
- My racing wheel is detected, but as the generic controller kind, not a racing wheel.
forceFeedbackMotorCount is reported as 0.
Meanwhile I had no problem running the DirectInput FFB sample on this computer and racing wheel.
